First unveiled at PAX East, Mages of Mystrailia now finds itself at PAX West, with not only a both for developer Borealys, but also being chosen to be showcased at the Microsoft pre-event show. In case you’ve never heard of the game:

“Mages of Mystralia is a 3D action-adventure game featuring Zia, a girl who discovers one day that she has the gift of magic. There are potentially millions of different spells you can create.”

Furthermore, to show off more of their game, Borealys has updated their blog with new pics and information, including what you can see at PAX West:

“Mystralia is divided up into multiple regions, each of which with its own contribution to the story, puzzles, enemies and themes. We’re working on each of these concurrently, so almost all of them are only partially done. At this point we have about 4 of the areas either done or close to done: The Haven, Sky Temple (which was heavily featured in the 2nd trailer), Lava Caves, and Mystral Woods. We’ll be showing the game at PAX in Seattle, and our goal is to have Greyleaf Hamlet 100% perfect and polished so people can try a true vertical slice.”

They’re still working on many aspects of the game, including the spellcrafting UI, but are determined to get it done for all to enjoy. Borealys will continue to update the Mages of Mystrailia blog as much as possible.
