
The Hollywood Reporter reported that actor Pat Harrington Jr. died on Wednesday from Alzheimer’s disease. He was 86.
Mr. Harrington was best known as building superintendent Dwayne Flo Schneider on One Day at a Time from 1975-1984. He won a Golden Globe as well as an Emmy for his role. He also made appearances on shows like The Danny Thomas Show, Columbo, Murder, She Wrote, and Hot in Cleveland, and in films like The Wheeler Dealers, Easy Come, Easy Go, and The Candidate.
Harrington’s voice credits include The Inspector on DePatie-Freleng Pink Panther shorts; Speedy and The Atom on The Superman/Aquaman Hour of Adventure; and Moe Howard on a few episodes of The New Scooby-Doo Movies. Other voice credits include Yo Yogi!, Wait till Your Father Gets Home, and Aaahh!!! Real Monsters.
