We begin our adventure with Noctis and his crew in Can A Final Fantasy Virgin Beat FFXV Blind!
Pimmsy has never played a Final Fantasy game before, and I haven’t played a Final Fantasy game since FF7, so we thought this FFXV blind Let’s Play would be a good introduction to the Final Fantasy franchise for the both of us, especially as FFXV describes itself as ‘A Final Fantasy For Both Fans And First-Timers’.
In Can A Final Fantasy Virgin Beat FFXV Blind, we’ll be finding out how friendly the game is to people who have never played a Final Fantasy game ever before, and also how it holds up to the Final Fantasy games of the past. FFXV has got some stiff competition!

FFXV is an open-world RPG made by Square Enix and is set in the land of Eos. It follows the journey of Noctis, Ignis, Gladiolus and Prompto as they aspire to retake their homeland.
FFXV endured a troubled development, taking 10 years to complete and changing from FF Versus XIII to FFXV. It features both an Active Time Battle system, with real-time combat, as well as the Wait system which allows for a more strategic approach.
Pimmsy will be controlling Noctis as the main character, but Prompto, Ignis and Gladiolus can all assist in battle with various skills, such as Link-Strikes. You can also use the traditional Final Fantasy magic such as Fire, Blizzard and much more.
Exclusive to FFXV, the party can travel in a car called the Regalia, but for times when that just won’t cut it, you can also ride around on Chocobos!
FFXV will also feature various DLC episodes, including Episode Prompto, Episode Ignis and Episode Gladiolus, as well as an all-new online co-op mode!
