With open world games like Watch Dogs 2, there’s also the chance that something got overlooked or forgotten about in the way of its no major characters. Such as the NPC’s. In a case that happened recently, a UK playtester found that an NPC can be technically naked after a certain occurrence.
The player then shared the scene with the world, and when Ubisoft found out, he was promptly suspended for a week. As his sharing the content was against the code of conduct rules Ubisoft set for the game. In a statement to IGN, Ubisoft noted that this NPC glitch will be fixed:
“We’re aware that one of the NPC models in Watch Dogs 2 is rendered in a way that is particularly explicit. While Watch Dogs 2 is a mature-rated game, we apologize and will update this NPC model to make it more consistent with other NPC models in the game in a patch to be released this week. We also are working with our first-party partners to ensure that players can continue to play and share all content from the game within the bounds of the first parties’ respective codes of conduct.”
Watch Dogs 2 is available now.
