The XBox One Is Now $50 Cheaper Everywhere

Last holiday season, the XBox One and PS4 finally became affordable to the mainstream tier of console buyers when their respective machines were lowered in retail price to $300. That sticker decision was reversed in January, but it’s only a matter of time until it becomes permanent, especially if the redesigned smaller consoles are more than a rumor.

But for those who missed their first chance, you’ve got a second one: Microsoft has announced a $50 price cut will go into effect immediately for all XBox One bundles, across the board at all retailers. All 500GB bundles are slashed to the $300 mark starting this week, and the more expensive 1 TB bundles such as the Division set are now $350.

There are a lot of XBox One bundles to pick from; choose your favorite while you can. Microsoft hasn’t said when this promotion ends, but there must be something behind the E3 curtain that’s driving them to discount their current stock….
