Tvshowsondvd.com reports that Warner Bros. is bringing Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle: Season 1 to DVD. The 1976 animated TV series is based on the classic series of books by Edgar Rice Burroughs, it chronicles the legendary Ape Man and his pet monkey N’kima in adventures throughout the jungle.
Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle was produced by Filmation Productions. The cartoon aired on CBS in 1976, and features the voices of Robert Ridgely (Flash Gordon, Thundarr The Barbarian) as Tarzan, and Lou Scheimer (Filmation co-founder and producer) as N’kima.
Season 1 will contain the first 16 episodes of the series. Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle: Season 1 will swing unto stores on June 14, 2016.
