‘Somnus Nemoris’ originally written for an early version of this FF game, (it was meant to be FFXIII) but now features as the Menu Music for the latest Final Fantasy game, FFXV Episode Duscae. The music was composed by Yoko Shimomura, and this arrangement was by Ronin.
The anticipation for this latest FF game really is going through the roof – massive open worlds and gorgeous visuals, in many ways it seems to be shaping up to be the first ‘proper’ FF since X! And the music, richly composed by Yoko Shimomura! What more could one ask for!? This particular track has been kicking around for ages so it’s nice to see that it’s still being utilized in some way in the game. Now let’s see if the game lives up the hype when it is finally released!
