Today Bethesda announced full details on the first DLC pack for Fallout 4. It’s set to come out March 22 for all platforms at once — PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.
In Automatron, the mysterious Mechanist has unleashed a horde of evil robots into the Commonwealth, including the devious Robobrain. Hunt them down and harvest their parts to build and mod your own custom robot companions. Choose from hundreds of mods; mixing limbs, armor, abilities, and weapons such as the all-new lightning chain gun. Even customize their paint schemes and choose their voices!
To use this DLC you will have to be Level 15 or higher. You can get Automatron individually for $9.99, or you can buy all the DLC at once with the season pass, which now costs $49.99. Your memory may recall that it used to cost $29.99 — this was before the DLC plans were expanded. Anyone who purchased the pass for $30 will still receive all the material (and if you still haven’t yet, we DID warn you the price increase was coming).
In the coming months, watch for the “Wasteland Workshop” DLC pack in April and the story-based DLC pack “Far Harbor” in May. There will be closed beta tests for all three. The invites for the Automatron beta went out this morning, so if you were going to be playing it early, you would know by now. (Check your spam filter!)
