Periodically we hear something about a crossover game between Shin Megami Tensei and Fire Emblem, about as often as we hear about Bigfoot sightings. This time, however, it can’t get more concrete than this: we have a finalized English name and a release date for the summer. It is definitely on the way!

Newly translated footage of the title was shown during this morning’s live Nintendo Direct broadcast. The new title is Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE, and the release date is June 24. So what are we in for? A whole lot of dancing, if the trailers aren’t lying, but here’s the interesting part: the English version of the game will use the original Japanese audio track, with subtitles. Nintendo says this is because the game “takes place in Japan,” but so does Yo-Kai Watch….this feels more like a cost-cutting measure. But a smart one! The fans of games like this vastly prefer to hear the original voices.

Look for Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE this June, for Wii U.
