Tomorrow Nintendo will broadcast a special Pokemon Direct live, and people have been wondering if the purpose is to announce the next generation of Pokemon games. Wonder no more; we now know that is definitely what is happening. Logos for the next two games in the series, Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon, have been leaked.
You can’t blame a disgrunted employee for this one — the logos were discovered within the files of the European Union Trademark Database. While Nintendo files trademarks all the time for games that never get released, and titles have been discovered in the past for Pokemon games that have never surfaced (now it seems “Pokemon Grey” will never happen)….the fact that a big announcement is happening TOMORROW strongly suggests Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon will be a thing.
One thing we don’t know is what kind of Legendaries will be on the box. They have a tendency to announce them the moment they reveal the games. There is still a good reason to watch the Direct.
